The Carmel High School girls and boys cross country teams each won Carmel Classic titles on Saturday at Northview Christian Church.
In the girls competition, schools designated at least two athletes to complete either a 3k, 4k, or 5k race that was run concurrently on the course. Each team scored points at each distance based on finishing position, as in traditional cross country scoring. Scores for each distance are combined to produce a final team score.
